An interview with jazz bassist Esperanza Spalding in the U.S. is presented. She reveals how she came up with the song "Endangered Species" with the help of Wayne Shorter and Joseph Vitarelli. Spalding mentions that the place near the Oregon coast called Neahkahnie is her favorite place as it has an incredible dramatic elements of nature. Her preference to have the guts to live within the guidelines of the earth's resources is also emphasized.
