The article discusses the author's perspectives on electronic publication. The author inferred that he was glad with the decision of the Royal Society of Medicine to put their journal on the World Wide Web. He believed that the decision to go online is a plus for the journal. He averred that readers of other online journals can now have access to the articles featured in the journal and that the barriers to communication in medicine have been slowly eliminated with online publishing.
