ABSTRACT
The author discusses the findings of a study made by Forrester Research Inc.'s Social WebTrack which shows that 58 percent of top 50 brands post an average of 5.6 times a week on Instagram. According to customer insights analyst, Allison Smith, people will be using visual social media more and more in the future. Also discussed is how retail brands use image-based social media sites such as Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest to act responsibly and preserve its image.
