ABSTRACT
The author opposes the economic stimulus package of U.S. President Barack Obama. The author stresses that the country experience the worst economic crisis since the administration of former President Jimmy Carter in response to Obama's claims that he inherited the worst recession. In contrast with Obama, he adds that former President Ronald Reagan addressed the problem through red tape reductions and lower income tax. He believes that the stimulus package will expand the authority of the federal government and increase tax rates.
