ABSTRACT
The article discusses the measures on how to address diversity in the workplaces in the U.S. Companies like Verizon study population data, identify gaps and integrate them into their plans to close diversity gaps. Compensation practices, promotional and hiring decisions were also taken into consideration. The author states that every company seeks for the best talent to develop, engage and retain and be at a competitive advantage.
