ABSTRACT
The author criticizes the economic policies of the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama. He claims that Obama wants to expand government intervention and control of the economy and notes that the U.S. has lost ground in the Heritage Foundation's Index of Economic Freedom in 2008. He also cites the opposing pronouncements of Obama's two key economic advisors about the state of the U.S. economy and asserts that the President's stimulus bill has failed to create jobs.
