ABSTRACT
In this article the author comments on the status of Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS) of the Government of Australia. He stresses that in averting an irreversible climate change disaster, radical action is needed. He mentions that the successful carbon emissions mitigation has not been achieved despite the existence of carbon trading schemes in 35 countries worldwide.
