The article presents views on plagiarism charges filed against "Cagle Syndicates" cartoonist Bill Day. Editorial cartoonist Ted Rall criticizes Day for using his situation of not having money, a job and the possibility of losing his house to plagiarize. Comics historian Mike Rhode believes that self-plagiarism is not a real concept. "The Plain Dealer" staff cartoonist Jeff Darcy gives Day the benefit of doubt saying that what he did was an innocent mistake.
