ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the article "Alternative Strategies for Identifying High-Performing Charter Schools in Texas." He says that the author of the article identify 44 high-performance Open Enrollment charter schools in the U.S. He suggests using performance metrics for analyzing schools' performance. He states that test scores are one measure of student outcomes so discussion without it on school grading schemes or rankings is incomplete.
