The article focuses on the Young European Driver of the Year 2005 hosted recently by Scania at Bruntingthorpe, Great Britain. From the endless supply of cold soft drinks, through the helpful and friendly demeanour of the Scania staff, to the provision of entertainment, it seemed the sponsors wanted everyone to have a good day out. It was an aim admirably achieved, even competitors' partners and supporters were allowed to test drive an Rseries Topliner and skidpan car and could play with radio-controlled models and go-karts.
