Information about the Biennial Conference of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) that was held on September 2-5, 2008 in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. Speakers at the event include professor Martin Nakata, Anita Heiss, and Loriene Roy, former president of the American Library Association. The highlights of the event are presentation of fellowships and awards, trade exhibition, and Hollywood Librarian roadshow.
