Information on the workshop for contemporary design history writing, supported by the Nationalmuseum in Sweden in November 2007 is presented. Topics include problems that design historians encounter, the need to create archives and collections with a scope of design history, and ways in dealing with digital communication. The workshop featured several art historians, such as Sussana Aaltonen from University of Helsinki and Kjetil Fallan from Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
