Information about the rural midwives video conference education project in New Zealand in 2009 is presented. It states that the conference was attended by 68 midwives from various areas in New Zealand and the project was part of the Rural Innovations Fund of the Ministry of Health. It mentions that midwives are supported by improving the available education and testing the feasibility of education through the videoconferencing method.
