A report is presented from a November 10, 2011 conference in Frankfurt am Main, Germany on the healthy upbringing of children in day care centers. Topics of presentations given included the promotion of preventive medicine in day cares, barriers to the acceptance of advice given by child care professionals to parents, and the results of a government survey on day care centers.
