ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "contrafissura" is presented. Contrafissura refers to a skull fracture at a point opposite where the blow was received. The term was derived from the Latin words "contra" which means opposite and "fissura" which means fissure. The definition is from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F. A. Davis Co.
