ABSTRACT
A definition of the medical term "cranium" is presented. Cranium is the portion of the skull that encloses the brain, consisting of single frontal, occipital, sphenoid and ethmoid bones and the paired temporal and parietal bones. The definition is from the "Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary," published by F. A. Davis Co. The pronunciation of the term is also provided.
