ABSTRACT
The article offers information about the development of nuclear weapons worldwide. Due to the competition to dominate the world in defense and power resources, several nations continuous to formulate and invent weapons of mass destruction. In 1938, nuclear fission was discovered in Germany. In the autumn of 1941, scientists in Great Britain developed a theory that explained how atomic bomb could be developed.
